New corporate headquarters for Advanced Bionics - developer of cochlear implant devices. This new building merged existing locations from Sylmar and Valencia for a total of 70,122 square feet of improved area under two phases.

 

Tenant Improvements within the existing 5 story shell included:

• 27,000 square feet of new offices

• 23,000 square feet of Research & Development labs (including surgical lab with x-ray sheilding)

• 10,000 square feet of warehouse.

• 10,000 s.f. of Class 7 Clean Rooms on second floor with public tour corridor

• New 71,000 cfm air handler on second floor

 

Site improvements included a new mechanical yard, tank farm and chemical storage sheds.

 

This project required direct oversight of all preliminary planning through construction document preparation, agency submittals, coordination between consultants, and construction administration.
